Sunday Mornings 10am
Whiile St.Lukes is going through a period of transiton, and working with St.Georges Church,Swallobeck, our morning worship service is a mixture of Holy Communion and a Morning Prayer service. Our Holy Communion Service is where we celebrate Jesus’s death and resurrection by sharing bread and wine together. It’s also a time when we pray together for the church, our community and the world. There’ll be readings from the Bible and we’ll also sing some hymns or worship songs. There'll also be a short Sermon or talk based on the Bible readings. Our Morning Payer service is a time to come together for prayers and psalms,as well as a sermin or talk on the bible readings.
Everything you need to know about the service is printed on a Service Sheet which you’ll be given when you arrive.
We always have tea and coffee after the service and you'll be more than welcome to join us.for a chat and you will always be made welcome.
